I think I'd like to go, but my Japanese friends said GITS2 was very difficult,so he didn't understand so much.

I saw it, I guess no one else here can be bothered to talk about it huh.
I went into it dreading the worst, its your typical slow Oshi stuff but actually I found Batou to be quite interesting which surprised me, the main plot line was entirely forgettable but events near the end had me wishing the rest of the movie was such, I liked it better than the first one.
Now where's blasted Appleseed??!?

Sheesh, not every city started showing it on the release date. ;) I have to wait until October 15th to see it, so just hold yer self together till then. :) I'll let you know what I thought of the movie then. :)

Because I was not aware of the hard conditions for ordering the second trading cards I missed to order the limited special card boxes. Now I'm looking for places where I can still order 3 of them. As far as I know it will be very difficult. Jlist offers all 3 boxes for $80 or $90 one box. Nippon-export sold out and tokyocentral only offers it for 100 byuers over invitation (maybe to late already).

Can someone help?

J-List is ripping fans off big time- ditto with Fujita Goods on E-bay (they're e-bay store name.) Been hearing far too many bad things about that store to ever suggest ordering from them.

The announcement by Kodansha that the cards were going to be extremely limited was to get people enticed- they're printing more cards for the second series right now. Far a I understand, Tokyo Central is going to offer chances to order the cards like they did with series one. They're just doing it by batches since they are only two people trying to run a very demanding and busy on-line store. I believe Val said that she would do this around December. Just be a little patient, I'm sure they'll come through again.

On the good side, sounds like the special cards will be easier to collect than last time since each box comes with a pack of nothing but special cards.

WASTE DEPOT is Shirow's Artbook. Therefore, the illustration with which he was drawn for the work is stored.
Although he is drawing the data-work variously about the game, animation (movie and TV) have unknown him in how far it is involving...It may be that there is his work which is not released until now.

Yes, that´s the one I want to see. Sadly in that link it´s very small and it´s covered with black dots :(
